Why learn Karate?

Self-defence

Karate is excellent for self-defence. Wado Kai, the particular type of karate we teach focuses on swift movements and using your attacker’s weight and strength against them.

Fitness

Karate delivers a total body workout. This means that every muscle group in your body is put to work, improving your muscle tone, stamina, flexibility, balance and strength.

Self-discipline

Karate is a great way to learn how to discipline yourself. This requires practice and repetition so that you can control your feelings and overcome your weaknesses.
